Payments are due at the time of service. We accept cash, check, credit card (3% fee will be added), Venmo and Care Credit. 


We are located at 595 County Road 88 in Trinity, AL. Our hours are 9:00 am - 5:00 pm. Farm calls are available for a fee.  


Yes, we highly recommend making an appointment to ensure that we can provide the best possible care. We do offer farm calls for a fee within 40 miles of our clinic (below the Tennessee River). 


We understand that life can be unpredictable especially with horses! If you need to cancel or reschedule, please let us know as soon as possible with a brief explanation. We ask for at least a 24 hour notice for any cancellations. 


Appointments canceled without 24 hours notice will incur a $50.00 cancellation fee. 


We are available 24 hours a day, to handle equine emergencies. Please call 256-214-3006 to be connected to Dr. Zach. 


Our emergency service range is 50 miles from our clinic. 


A Health Certificate and a current Coggins are required by each state. The certificate states that the horse was free of infectious disease at the time of the examination. Please allow at least one week prior to travel for your request. Request a Health Certificate 


Yes! The pre-purchase exam is a vital part of buying a horse as it can identify existing health or soundness issues which may prevent a horse from fulfilling its intended use. We do require a deposit of $75  at the time of scheduling. 


We have First Aid Kits available for purchase. Give us a call to reserve one. 


We recommend the following items for your equine first aid kit:

  • Leg wraps
  • Duct tape
  • Epsom salt
  • Alcohol
  • Antibacterial wipes
  • Bandage scissors
  • Betadine scrub
  • Betadine solution
  • Cold pack, instant
  • Cotton roll, 1/2 lb
  • Exam gloves
  • Flashlight
  • Gauze pads, 4x4"
  • Gauze roll bandage
  • Oral dosing syringe, 60cc
  • Saline eye wash
  • Stethoscope
  • Towels
  • Vetwrap bandages 
  • Vaseline
  • Triple antibiotic ointment
